¿Qué tal ? Muy bien, espero?

heh..so tt's what i've been up to..actually it's rumin and me..we r doing the same thing as wanling..learning Spanish..well, rumin wanted to take up jap as GE instead of Spanish. But during the registration period, she got the time wrong and almost missed..moreover she's at work so i helped her..she said she would take the same as me..so both of us ended up in the mon n wed morn Spanish class..

rumin ah..didn't go for the first tutorial cos she was still waiting for her jap module plus she's still in holiday mode..so i went alone..apparently, a lot of ppl were in holiday mode too! cos there's only 4 ppl in the class..3 girls and 1 guy..there's one girl, Rosanna, who greeted the teacher in Spanish once she stepped in..wah!! I was impressed..at the same time..stressed ah!! it turned out tt she went to mexico over the holidays cos her relatives were there..oh did i mention she's Eurasian ( English + Singaporean) who's hot? at least i find her hot..and damn it! she's been to Madrid =P anyway..nothing much in this first lesson..just the basic intro of urself..like "¡Hola! Me llamo ______. ¿y tú?" I shan't explain what it means..let u all guess..i'm sure anyone can guess it correctly cos it's the first thing we always say when we meet new ppl..well..tt's basically the only thing we learnt in 2 hrs..haha..no la..plus a bit of pronounciation all these..the pace was REALLY slow..at a crawling speed..cos the teacher, Cristina Gonzalez, said she wanna wait for the rest of the class cos it's still add-drop period..so..did i enjoy Spanish class? u bet..cos it's much more relaxed than the other tutorials! DUH...

Okay..let me conduct a crash course on Spanish..girl = chica..boy = CHICO!! how smart the Spaniards are! for those of u dunno what is "chico", it's lecher in Hokkien..hahahaha!! LMAO!! The Spaniards have always known that boys = chicos = lechers! How apt..haha..tt's y I like Spanish..it makes sense..hrm..in certain things only la..sometimes I just find it quite troublesome..got a lot more things to learn as compared to English..but since I have chosen this course, it means that I have a certain interest in it so I shall learn to appreciate and embrace it..heh..another thing..ever wondered how u pronounce "..rr.." in Spanish context? for e.g. carro (which means car) as compared to carrot..well..u just have to roll ur tongue and have tt "rrrrrr" sound like motor vibrating..but unfortunately..i can't!!!! Believe me..i've been trying to do tt since young but still..haiz..it must be in the genes! haha..cos my mom can't but my dad n bro can do it..actually i can do it a bit..for a v short while but i will have to add the "d" in front..i.e. "cadrro" instead of "carro"..it works! but alas! Those Spaniards must have wanted to torture me when they came up with the pronounciation..apparently, i'm not really allowed to pronounce in tt way..cos there's words which are pronounced like tt but it's being spelled as "..dro.."! Are they after my life or what?! =( anyway..there's quite a lot of ppl in the class r in the same plight as me => being tortured mercilessly! one more thing.. poop ( or shit as we usually call it) = caca in Spanish..so the last lesson:

min: "Who am I?" (in Spanish)
me: "Caca!" *beamed then began laughing uncontrollably"

wah!! kena whacked man!! hahahaha..so my new definition..caca = min..hahaha..no la! just joking!! min min..don't be angry k? ok la..u caca i oso caca la..hahaha..

oh..not only did we learn Spanish..we learnt Malay as well! but only one word..in Spanish, Pepe ( pronounced as Peh-peh..same as peipei..heh) is the nickname for José..however there's the wonder of languages..what is meant in one language will have other interesting meaning in other languages..so pepe in Malay refers to the female sexual part..so can u imagine a Spanish guy in Bintan intro himself as Pepe to the Indonesians who speak Bahasa Melayu ( similar to Malay)? "Hi, I'm Pepe!" wahahaha! imagine the look of pure horror on the faces of the natives in Bintan! They immediately stayed away from him and didn't shake his hand..haha..btw this was told by our teacher..Pepe is her cousin..heh..=) so peipei..do u have any Malay frenz? what's their reaction when u told them ur name? hmm..just wondering here..hee..

well..tt's basically the life in our Spanish class..obviously there's no cute guys or we would have gushed abt them a long time ago..but the class is fun..at least the teacher is more interesting than any other tutors..anyway..even if we have completed this module, i'm quite sure i wouldn't understand those Spanish ppl or South Americans cos they will be going on and on like a train esp ppl in Spain..but hopefully it's enough for me to read some articles in spanish can liao.. oh or if Iker (aka casillas) and I can understand each other then tt will be more than enough..haha..
*grin devilishly*
