Incomparable To Jay Concert 27/11
haha..due to the over-whelming request..I shall post it here! (ppl who dun like Jay can skip this whole post ;)The concert started at 845 when it is supposed to start at 8pm...(thanx to the lateness habit of s'poreans) haha..no lah...the stretch of road in orchard till dunno where had a really bad traffic jam...u noe...i was having dinner with shu rong at orchard and we planned to take bus 16 after our dinner to get to s'pore indoor. We started waiting for the bus at ard 645pm and guess wat? one bus 16 came and it's fully packed(!!) so much so tat the bus driver din even bother to stop at the bus stop and just zoomed past us. Okay..nvm...we told ourselves tat we have the time to wait for another bus 16 since it's not yet 7 and the concert will start at 8pm...relax...the 2nd bus came and again.....it zoomed past us!!!! cos it's also fully-packed!!! We shook our heads in disbelief! We have under-estimated the charm ofJay...haha! Then we continue waiting...this time we waited for quite some time but the bus still had not arrived yet...both of us were getting really anxious cos time was runnning out and we were not hopeful tat the next bus 16 would have space for us to squeeze in.....even if we could board the bus...thinking of the bad traffic and the longer route bus 16 go after the collapse of nicoll highway...shu rong and I gave up and ran to flag a taxi instead.Though I noe the concert would not start in time...I'll rather be early then be sorry.....so we managed to flag down a cab at ard 7:15-7:20pm....and u thot i shd be super early rite?hahaha...no....cos there seemed to be traffic jam everywhere!! so in the end...we reached the stadium at ard 745...went toilet blah blah then finally found our seats! WoW...cool!!!! guess wat happpened again? Wa hahahaahah! i'm sitting at the west side and the stage is facing us!!! One
more thing to be happy abt.......tat is.........our seats were at the first row of the balcony!!!!! yes!! haha! u couldn't imagine this...shu rong and i were holding hands and jumping when we saw how good our seats were...haha! Cos I dunno it's the 1st row of the balcony and always thot it might be the 2nd or 3rd ...so i'm really glad tat nobody's gonna block my view if they stand up in the middle of the concert...( which happened in the previous concert I went at suntec)...Yippee! Balcony seats aren't tat far from the stage as I've imagined...it's actually very near!! Maybe because I'm sitting like close to the centre of the stage as well...so everything will seem good to me...hee =D and I sat and waited like 35 mins......
Just before the concert started, the girl who was sitting beside me handed me 2 lightsticks..I'm like so surprised... She brought 4 light sticks with her and seeing tat shu rong and I din bring any...she gave us 1 lightstick each!! So sweet of her!=P Cos I did think tat the lightstick made a whole lot of difference to how I enjoyed the concert....
Just as immediately as she handed me the lightsticks...the whole stadium went black and wow......omg! Everyone was feeling high !!hahaha! Those audiences sitting in the east,north and south appeared as colourful stars in the galaxy...so beautiful and vibrant with their all sorts of lightsticks !! it's unforgettable! The atmosphere was really good! I felt high too! haha!Alright...and the moment came! Jay desecended from a cross and sang 'yi fu zi ming' ....I'm really lucky to be sitting at the west ....cos ppl at the east (opp of west) can't see Jay at all when he descended from the cross...they could only see the back of the cross while me...the lucky soul... got to see everything! hahaah! so i'm like screaming at the top of my lungs....hahaha!
After which...he did some dancing....pretty good! and....he also played the chinese flute when he sang a song...which i think is ' ti tian' can't really remember....a short part...ok...not as good as when he played his piano and cello...but it's definitely good enuf to show it off on the stage!! haha!then...there was this unplugged section which he invited 2 members from nan quan ma ma to played the guitars ...3 of them were sitting on those bar stools...but to be fair to the ppl sitting at the east...they played 3 songs facing the east...=( and those 3 songs...i like so much.... they were ' hui dao guo qu', ' xing qing' and ' zhui hou de zhang yi'....wow...i never noe tat ' zhui hou de zhang yi' could sound sooo nice in unpluggedversion....i'll prefer tat to cd!!! =) hahah! then he performed ai wo bie zou( original done by zhang zheng yue) also in unplugged by walking ard...nice..jay said he used to practise this song alot of times in ktv when he's much younger...I like the unplugged section but too bad they were not facing me...but no choice had to be fair to the rest as well....cos he did most of his dancing facing us...It's not possible to please everyone singing like really at the centre stage with 4 side of audiences...haha...so i'm happy anyway cos he's not mumbling....could hear wat he sang clearly and well in the unplugged( at least din hear any major faults, minor faults I won't noe cos i'm not the music expert..haha)...though I must say in those faster songs with rap....he tends to mumble again....but still...it's good!! and when it came to those songs with faster beat...the fans would be screaming even louder so whether he mumbles or not in those faster songs doesn't really matter...so long as we r enjoying the atmosphere which was building up! so after the unplugged section....jay continued with his other songs and dances...and then showing off his kungfu too....by moving a sword in his hands in swift action...blah blah....then came the performance by nan quan ma ma.They sang ' xiang cao ba bu' and ' xiao shi hou' with jay joining in the later part of the song.....Jay also did faye wong's song ' hong dou' in both chinese and cantonese..mix mix...nice!! His cantonese not tat good but he hit those high notes beautifully....
then...eh...i forgot...the piano section shd be next! Jay together with a member from nan quan ma ma performed classical pieces...yes..2 of them playing at the same time on 1 piano...wow! amazed! swift-moving fingers! and very well coordianated! Loud applause!! after which jay sang ' ge qian'( half- way thru the song, I closed my eyes and listened....wooooo...perfect! He hit those high notes !) 'qing tian', ' long juan feng', ( I thot this song was the best on piano!!) ' an jing'...and i can't remember or maybe tats all for the piano part.. it's really a good seat of mine..i can see the whole side view of him playing the piano clearly!! =P *faint*haha
then....there's another guest star...it's landy wen lan! she sang well too....powerful voice...she sang 2 songs or maybe 1 n 1/2 cos for the first, jay sang the first part and she continued with it..it's a new song composed by jay for her ...she's real sexy...
then there's encore ! so he came out and sang again....which i dun really remember...think it's kai bu liao kou , jian dan ai.....'jian dan ai' is superb! everyone became more excited when he said he's gonna sang tat song....woo hoo....I waved my light stick even harder....haha!
then there's encore again! this time it's fun! after much shouting and screaming for jay...a drummer first appeared on the stage beating ta*ta*ta and then rest ta*ta*ta and then rest again...and the crowd followed by screaming...... zhou! * jie! * lun! _ zhou! * jie! *lun! so we r like chanting for jay to come out...haha! so exciting and fun!! and the beat will gradually pick out speed such tat by then we were screaming randomly again...haha! Jay appeared singing... dong feng po...and qi li xiang....he dragged this song so we thot it's really the last song since he said it's the last....i was feeling so high and excited ...so i just stood up and walked a few steps towards the front leaned myself against the railings and waved my lightsticks real hard keeping to the beat...and screamed of cos...hahaah!
and then....there's a 3rd encore!!!.....Jay came back to the stage again! This time he emerged on the stage as a drummer!!!!!! Together with nan quan ma ma, they played bai sei lie heng, jay din sing just beat the drums!COOL!!!!! i'm gonna dl the song...cos was not really familiar with the song...with tat....it's the last song and the concert ended!!!CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! Well done! Ended at 1115pm... I'm already looking forward to his next concert in s'pore...we shall watch it together k? hee ;)
